A simple product is a standard product with no variations. This is the most common product type for items that do not have multiple sizes, colors, or options.
Open the Products Section
- Log in to your website dashboard.
- In the left menu, click Products.
- Click Add New.
Enter Basic Product Information
- Enter the product title
- Write the long description in the main editor area
- Enter the short description if your store uses it
Confirm Product Type
In the Product Data section, make sure the product type is set to Simple Product.
Set Pricing
- Enter the Regular Price.
- If needed, enter a Sale Price.
- If needed, schedule the sale dates.
Featured Product
If your store uses featured products, mark the product as Featured so it can appear in featured product areas.
Stock Management
If inventory tracking is enabled, enter the stock quantity and SKU if used.
Shipping Information
If shipping applies, make sure the product includes:
- Weight
- Length
- Width
- Height
Categories and Tags
Assign the product to the correct category and add tags if needed to help organize products.
Product Images
Set a featured image and add gallery images if needed. Product images should be square for best display results.
Publish the Product
- Review the product information.
- Click Publish.
The product will now appear in your store.
