Refund & Service Policy
Effective Date: [Insert Date]
This Refund & Service Policy explains how Local Business Websites handles payments, service work, digital
products, software-related services, website packages, and related support.
General Policy
Because many of our services involve custom labor, digital setup, development time, software configuration,
consulting, design work, hosting-related setup, or digital delivery, payments are generally non-refundable once
work has started, setup has been performed, digital access has been granted, or deliverables have been provided,
except where otherwise required by law or specifically stated in writing.
Deposits and Setup Fees
Setup fees, project deposits, onboarding fees, installation fees, and similar upfront charges are non-refundable
once project preparation, account setup, configuration, scheduling, planning, or production work has begun.
Monthly Services and Recurring Billing
Recurring services such as hosting, maintenance, support plans, software access, subscription features, or
ongoing service packages are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable for the billing period already
charged. To avoid future billing, cancellation requests must be submitted before the next billing cycle begins.
Custom Website and Development Work
Payments for custom website design, development, ecommerce work, integrations, troubleshooting, revisions,
custom coding, consulting, and similar labor-based services are non-refundable once the work has been started
or completed. Project timelines may depend on client communication, approvals, content delivery, and third-party
system cooperation.
Digital Products and Software
Digital products, downloadable materials, software-related items, plugins, configurations, licenses, and other
non-tangible items are generally non-refundable once delivered, downloaded, activated, accessed, installed, or
sent, unless otherwise stated in writing.
LBW AR Try-On Related Services
Any custom AR try-on setup, testing, implementation, design adjustment, product mapping, plugin-related work,
configuration, consultation, or technical labor is considered custom digital service work and is generally
non-refundable once work has started or access has been provided.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first through the help desk so we can review the issue. Filing
a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue through support may result in
suspension or termination of services, access restrictions, account holds, and recovery actions where permitted.
Client Delays and Abandoned Projects
If a client becomes unresponsive, fails to provide required materials, delays approvals, or otherwise prevents
completion of the work, we reserve the right to pause, close, or archive the project after a reasonable period.
Payments already made for time reserved, work completed, or setup performed remain non-refundable.
Exceptions
Any exception to this policy must be expressly stated in writing by Local Business Websites. In cases where a
refund is approved, any time already spent, setup already completed, third-party costs already incurred, or
delivered digital value may be deducted from the refund amount.
