In order to complete your website setup, the required content must be provided by the client. This includes the text, images, and business information that will appear on the website.
Our team prepares the website structure and installs the system, but the content used on the website must come from the client.
Required Website Content
Depending on the type of website being built, you may be asked to provide:
- Business name and description
- Service descriptions
- Contact information (phone, email, address)
- Business hours
- Logo files
- Images or photos for the website
Ecommerce Website Content
If your website includes ecommerce functionality, additional information will be required for products.
This may include:
- Product names
- Product descriptions
- Product images
- Product pricing
- Product categories
Products may be added manually or imported from a properly formatted product file.
Content Responsibility
All website content must be supplied by the client. This ensures the information displayed on the website is accurate and reflects the business correctly.
Providing Your Content
All website content and materials should be submitted through the support helpdesk. This keeps all project information organized and ensures nothing is missed during the setup process.
Content that may need to be submitted includes:
- Business information
- Service descriptions
- Logos or branding files
- Images or photos
- Product information (for ecommerce websites)
- Product spreadsheets or import files (if applicable)
Submitting content through the helpdesk also allows our team to track requests, confirm receipt of files, and respond quickly if additional information is needed.
Once the required content has been received through the helpdesk, the remaining website setup work can continue.
