If you forget your password or cannot log in to your website dashboard, you can reset your password using the built-in password recovery system.
This process allows you to create a new password and regain access to your dashboard.
Go to the Login Page
Open your website login page by visiting:
https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
This will take you to the dashboard login screen.
Start the Password Reset
On the login screen, click the link Lost your password?
This will open the password recovery page.
Enter Your Username or Email
On the password recovery page:
- Enter your username or email address
- Click Get New Password
WordPress will send a password reset email to the email address associated with your account.
Check Your Email
You will receive an email containing a password reset link.
Open the email and click the reset link to create a new password.
If you do not see the email within a few minutes:
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Confirm that the correct email address was entered
Create a New Password
After clicking the reset link, you will be prompted to create a new password.
Choose a strong password and save the changes.
Once the password has been updated, return to:
https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
and log in using your new password.
If You Still Cannot Log In
If the password reset email does not arrive or you are unable to reset your password, submit a request through the support helpdesk so our team can assist you with restoring access to your account.
