In some cases a product may be created but does not appear in your store or cannot be purchased. This is usually caused by a missing required setting.
Product Is Saved as Draft
Products must be published before they appear in your store. If a product is saved as a draft, it will not be visible to customers.
Product Has No Price
Products must have a price to be purchasable. Check the Regular Price field in the Product Data section.
Product Is Out of Stock
If inventory tracking is enabled and the stock level reaches zero, the product may appear as unavailable. Check the Inventory tab and confirm the product is in stock.
Product Visibility Settings
Products can be hidden from the shop catalog. Check the visibility settings and confirm the product is not hidden.
Variable Product Troubleshooting
If a variable product cannot be purchased, review the following:
- attributes must be added first
- Used for variations must be checked
- attributes must be saved
- variations must be created
- each variation must have a price
- variations must be enabled
If a variation does not have a price, customers will not be able to purchase the product.
